Mike is the new member of the No Hype family. He and his wife Jodi moved to Maple Ridge a couple years ago. They feel that this is where they were meant to be, and plan on staying put for a long time. After spending a decade as a roadie and x-country mountain biker, Mike made the switch from spandex to jeans about 6 years ago. After breaking several x-country frames while dirt jumping, he figured it was time to admit that he had somehow become a downhiller. He has been bmx racing for a couple years now, and in 2006 he earned the #1 ranking in Canada for 30+ men. He was third at the national championships in his category (N3 plate) and won the western national series (C1). Mike is really focused on the BMX World Championships in Victoria (2007) and is being coached by Ken Cools to prepare.
